My name is Patty Cunningham. This pre-portfolio is part of my studies at Loyola University in the Educational Technology program. I teach second grade at Central Elementary in Edgewater, MD. I have been the school eCoach for several years. In this role, I am a liason between the county technology office and our school. I help with staff development and assist teachers with basic technology questions. A benefit of serving as eCoach is that I go to two eCoach "days" to keep up on the latest technology trends in education. Also, I have been able to go to the MICCA/MSET conference each year. The eCoach program has provided substitutes for these days.
I live in Edgewater with my husband, John. Our daughter, Kimberly, just graduated from college and is living at home for now. It's really a pleasure having her home. Our other daughter, Bonnie, moved to San Francisco in the spring. We have an awesome cat named Cuatro.
